The ego wants you to identify with whatever thought form that crosses your mind. The realization of this has the power to free you from unconsciousness. You are more than your thoughts. Thoughts are just a tool. The small you needs to be defended because ego gives you a fake sense of self and the lie has to be kept. Your true self does not need to be defended because truth simply is. You simply are. What you are is above thought. You and we are the same thing. We are one.
